Lucas Sinclair

About Me

Photographer | Video Editor | Filmmaker

Lucas Sinclair is a UK-based filmmaker, photographer, producer and video editor with over a decade of experience creating documentary, branded and commercial content. Originally self-taught as a photographer, he moved into filmmaking through festival media teams and collaborations with musicians, developing a storytelling approach that combines strong visual style with technical precision.

His work spans documentaries, live events, branded campaigns and music content, with projects including BBC Introducing features, BMW campaigns and documentary filmmaking for the Marine Stewardship Council. A career highlight was producing and editing a COP26 climate change documentary exploring the impact of global warming on the fishing industry. His work has been shortlisted for the Smiley Charity Film Awards, and he has spent over ten years leading creative production projects at Glastonbury Festival.

As an editor and filmmaker, Lucas specialises in shaping story-driven films from complex productions and fast-turnaround shoots, balancing narrative clarity, pacing and emotional impact. He has experience managing production logistics, directing shoots and delivering commercial and documentary content under tight deadlines.

Alongside filmmaking and photography, Lucas has a growing interest in interior design, DIY and travel photography, often drawing inspiration from architecture, landscapes and live music culture. He is particularly interested in projects connected to sustainability, culture and meaningful human stories.
